I love tattoos. I've not only always found them beautiful, but as an artistic expression. I would love to get a tattoo in the near future, so I've been looking at different designs. While looking, I found this skull in an indian headdress. I love the water color and dripping effect, and the stark contrast between the black in and the vibrant colors that paint the feathers. I'd love to create artwork just as beautiful as this piece.

That tattoo is very artistic and the colors must be difficult to do on skin.
ReplyDeleteI like how the artist decided to do a profile view instead of a portrait. I think it gives the piece more dimension. I think it was a great choice to use water colors for the piece because it adds to the tribal/free spirited feel of the overall artwork.
ReplyDeletei think from how the skull is position it gives emotion for an indian skull and i love the certain water color look of the head dress
