Tattoo Design

I love tattoos. I've not only always found them beautiful, but as an artistic expression. I would love to get a tattoo in the near future, so I've been looking at different designs. While looking, I found this skull in an indian headdress. I love the water color and dripping effect, and the stark contrast between the black in and the vibrant colors that paint the feathers. I'd love to create artwork just as beautiful as this piece.

  1. That tattoo is very artistic and the colors must be difficult to do on skin.

  2. I like how the artist decided to do a profile view instead of a portrait. I think it gives the piece more dimension. I think it was a great choice to use water colors for the piece because it adds to the tribal/free spirited feel of the overall artwork.

  3. i think from how the skull is position it gives emotion for an indian skull and i love the certain water color look of the head dress

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Bye For Now DMA

Well since I'm a senior, then this is probably going to be my last blog post. Next year, I am going to do the Digital Design program at the Warren County Career Center for college credit, so I'm still going to do some DMA stuff after graduation. It's been very cool to be making cool stuff here and I'll miss you guys and I know your going to miss me and my dog Max.
