number 2 woody blends better with the background line direction, hes in the flow of it, matt james not so much but the other player is pretty cool, I still vote woody though
i like the second one better because you can see the entire ball and its in focus and when shooting sports having the ball in the picture is VERY important. I also think that the first picture just has too much going on in it. The second one is focused on one subject and that subject is clearly emphasized.
I like the second one with woody, he goes with the background a lot better. When I look at the one with matt I kinda notice the the person who is guarding him more than matt himself, the second one is much more focused on woody.
I personally find the first one cooler, because the other player to the right is neat.
