Need Suggestion

Which one appeals to you?

Comments

  1. I personally find the first one cooler, because the other player to the right is neat.

  2. number 2 woody blends better with the background line direction, hes in the flow of it, matt james not so much but the other player is pretty cool, I still vote woody though

  3. i like the second one better because you can see the entire ball and its in focus and when shooting sports having the ball in the picture is VERY important. I also think that the first picture just has too much going on in it. The second one is focused on one subject and that subject is clearly emphasized.

  4. The bottom one is more appealing because it is just one player and it uses all the space better

  5. Second one ISN'T Matt James doe; should fix that :P

  6. I like the second one with woody, he goes with the background a lot better. When I look at the one with matt I kinda notice the the person who is guarding him more than matt himself, the second one is much more focused on woody.

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017. Eventually, I will talk about Marvel comic book artists, but not today. If you want to check out more of her work, here is her website:  https://www.anniewuart.com/
