 McLaren F1

What is it?

The Mclaren F1 is currently the fastest naturally aspirated production car and is worth about three times as much as a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, with a value of around $6 million. The Mclaren F1 has around 627 horsepower, and can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 3.2 seconds. It has an official top speed of 241 miles per hour.

Technical Highlights

Sitting just behind the lucky driver is a 6.1 liter BMW M Division naturally aspirated V12 engine. Because of its relative simplicity, the Mclaren F1 and its engine can and will spank the Bugatti Veyron all the way to next Tuesday. The F1 features no driving assists such as ABS, power steering, or traction control. This allows for the driver to be completely in control of the vehicle as opposed to the Veyron, where apparently the controls are so numb and without feeling that you can drive the two-ton car straight into a lagoon. The lack of computerized assists is furthered by the F1's rear-wheel drive setup coupled with a six-speed manual transmission. The Veyron's horrifying tendency to understeer is due largely to its all-wheel drive system, which transmits a portion of its trash engine's power to the front wheels for no reason. Also, the Veyron has an automatic transmission. So, you know....fudge that. In conclusion, the McLaren F1 is the greatest car of all time and the Veyron is poop.

This car is such art that you could drive it into Mrs. Shields' classroom and she'd give you an A+

  2. The McLaren F1, the car for the girlfriend and the wife. i say this because you can have your girlfriend on one side and your wife on the other and with you sitting 2 feet further then the passengers they'll never see each other. Thanks to the mighty BMW V12 they wont hear each other either....

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Speed Painting

This a painting made in Photoshop by a guy who goes by the name " The Concept Painter " on Youtube. He does lots of Photoshop speed painting videos and also air brush videos. This particular painting took him 3.5 hours to complete and was made using a drawing tablet similar to the ones we use in our class.

Another Comic Book Artist (Woo!): Annie Wu

If you have talked to me for more than one minute, I am a huge nerd. So, I am making another post about comic book artists. This time it's Annie Wu. She's a comic book artists who lives in Chicago, and is one of my inspiration artists for my sustained investigation. A lot of her work is dramatic with deep and dark lines with bold colors which is makes style perfect for where I first found her work. I first saw her work in the Black Canary book in 2017. Eventually, I will talk about Marvel comic book artists, but not today. If you want to check out more of her work, here is her website:  https://www.anniewuart.com/
