HALO 4

To me, video games aren't just a means of entertainment. Video games are an artform in itself. Games are geting bigger and better in their production values, their artwork, animations; becoming more and more like blockbuster films than the brainchild of the gaming industries. Halo 4 is turning out to be one of these blockbuster games. 343 Industries has a lot riding on the release of Halo 4, and some people aren't even acknowledging its existence because it is a Halo sequel NOT created by Bungie. I--and many of my peers--are indeed ecstatic about Halo 4 and are extremely excited for the game to be released on November 6th.

  1. I can't wait for this game to come out, my money is ready, but i havent pre ordered it yet. I viewed some of the gameplay of Halo 4, some of the weapons that are going to be used in the game look cool and very unique. The armor for the game has completely been changed and has a new design!

Last Blog Post

This is my last blog post for my senior year, so I'd like to say that I am so glad I took DMA classes throughout high school. I've learned so much and I wouldn't be where I am today without my experiences in the classes. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall and I couldn't be more excited. I'm thinking about majoring and working in the film industry, however, I will be pursuing all and any forms of art in the future as well. From a fellow artist: take the opportunities that you are given and work hard doing what you love. Malena Bozzini         Malena Bozzini is a sophomore college student studying psychology. As her passion she is an artist. Her work is so original and abstract in order to dramatize her figures. She creates art out of emotion and uses her feelings to choose color and shape. One of the most interesting facts is that all of her pieces are done with colored pencils. Her art is so expressive that each piece gives out its own vibe. What makes her art unique is that it is inspired by motion and gestures. It is amazing how she developed such a style at such a young age.  Instagram @ malenabozzini

Mad Max: Fury Road - Storyboard to Screen

One of my favorite films is Mad Max: Fury Road. There is practically no dialogue in the entire movie, so when George Miller sat down to write the film, he decided that it would be better to hire a team of people to storyboard his vision. Script to Screen is a Twitter page that compares the film to its screenplay, but here the storyboards from Fury Road are compared to the scenes, and it is so fascinating to watch.
