T-shirt designs

Here  are some really cool t shirt designs made from Photoshop. I thought that it would be helpful since we are going to be creating our own this week in class.

SOUR「映し鏡」

This is definitely one of the coolest music videos I've ever seen. If you go to their site you can even get a personalized version with your own social network accounts.
Look at this pencil drawing, oh yes, that's right, it looks nice. ok. It rocks.

Dark Knight Speed Drawing

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCKG1OnBwz4&feature=plcp This guy is an amazing artist check out his channel on youtube.

Project CARS

This is a pretty good photo, right? Well you might be surprised to hear that this isn't a photograph at all, it's actually a screenshot of a game in-development called Project CARS  ( Community Assisted Racing Simulator ).  It  is a  racing simulation   video game  in development by  Slightly Mad Studios . It is scheduled to be released for  Microsoft Windows ,  Wii U ,  PlayStation 3  and  Xbox 360  in mid-2013. The game's Claim to Fame is its incredibly realistic graphics. This is what the game actually looks like while playing it, not during a cutscene.  More Pictures and Info about the game, along with numerous galeries of photos can be found at the Game's Official Website

Paint Sound Sculptures

These are paint sculptures, taken by placing ink drops on a speaker, then turning the speaker on and capturing the vibrations. To see more of the photos and videos of how it was done, click here .

iPhone Olloclip Photography

Found this video to be interesting and related to the lens project we are are doing right now. The Olloclip acts like the different lens we have been using in class.

FANTASTIC MR. FOX

Many of you have probably seen the wes anderson film Fantastic Mr. Fox, and if you haven't you should! This is a look into the stop motion animation they used to make the film.

Sidewalk Art

This video is a time lapse of someone doing sidewalk art. Check it out!

Glass Art

There were so many kind of arts in the world. Some arts will make the scene more effect without using any computer programs, just like glass art. Glass art can make some effect through water, sunshine, etc.
This website is a blog of all kinds of art, the most interesting i think is the 3D art. Knowing that they create a whole new enviroment using only computer software, starting from scratch object mesh to detailed lighting and textures, and none of it is actually real. HERE is the site

Photoshop Tutorial: Creating an HDR Image

This tutorial will show you how to create an HDR (High Dynamic Range) image from a single RAW file.

New official iPhone 5 trailer

Thought this would be a cool video because everyone is all pumped about the new iPhone and you can do more things on the phone that are DMA related

Forza Horizon

http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/FH/Features.aspx A new racing game combining the driving pleasure of the Forza Motorsport series with a vast open world. I like what I see, but I don't see why the whole game is centered around a music festival. Racing games are about cars, not rave parties with super-fly DJs and glowsticks. Also, if there isn't a McLaren F1 I will be very upset.

T-Shirt War

Cool video I found. Uses stop motion in combination with 100's of different shirts to make a clever and unique animation.

Nyan Graffiti video

I thought this video was pretty solid.
For some of us a DSLR just isn't the right tool for shooting video, but cinema cameras cost waaaaayy too much, but fear no fear, black magic designs, has come out with the new cinema camera for under $4000, so click on the link and take a peek.  http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/blackmagiccinemacamera/ " Elegant, sophisticated and jam packed with the latest digital cinema technology, Blackmagic Cinema Camera gives your work that timeless feature film look! Chan Wee Chong

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/18/single-line-drawing-mona-lisa_n_1101885.html This is an article about an artist named Chan Wee Chong. He specializes in single line drawing, like we just finished doing in class. He has recreated many beautiful works or art, uncluding the Mona Lisa.

Self-portrait of someone

This was a self-portrait a guy did, like us in DMA class.
I thought that it would both be effective AND decorative to have custom acoustic wall tiles. It would be helpful by removing a lot of the echo that stays in the recording room since there is just brick walls throwing the sound all over the place. It would be decorative because it could be a highlight for photoshop/illustrator projects and could form it's own "Hall of Fame" For an example website click  here

the cellar door.

here's a cool flash horror game. and what you do is you is go around this creepy building and find marbles. REALLY SCARY DON'T PLAY BEFORE GOING TO BED. http://theflashgames.blogspot.com/2012/03/cellar-door.html

New Madden 13 Voice Control with Kinect!

Deadmau5 Projection on building

This video has some cool visual effects from some of the programs used in DMA so I thought it may be cool to post this on here. Also its Deadmau5 and he's pretty much a boss so thats another reason to post something like this. :)

Dredd 3D Concept Art

Director Pete Travis decides to remake the comic book based movie that miserably failed in 1995. It's about a police force in a futuristic city trying to take down a drug empire. The new concept art gives us a closer look at the movie. Check it out  here.

Skellington

Here is a cool piece of artwork made out of words similar to how we made the drawing in our sketchbook using only letters. I thought this was cool. That is all.

‘Bliss’ Possibly the Most Viewed Photo

The default Windows XP wallpaper featuring a peaceful green meadow and serene blue sky is the most ubiquitous photo, according to the Morts Photography blog. With a “guesstimated” 1 billion views, the medium-format photo was shot by Charles O’Rear who claims it was not digitally enhanced in any way

Photography Tips

http://www.topdesignmag.com/20-very-useful-photography-tips-and-tricks/ This is a website I found that gives some really cool ideas and techniques to use when taking photographs. Some of the stuff we already know but some of the other things are really cool.

Lego Stop Motion

I just thought this little video was a cool way to utilize the awesomeness of stop motion! Totally worth sharing! Check it out!

Madden Designer Speaks About '13

Football is back and that means so is Madden. The '13 edition has some great features and this video allows the average person to understand some of the art and design that goes into creating Madden. This is one of the head designers for EA Sports and it is really cool to hear what he has to say. (I say that as a Madden fan as well as a fellow artist.) Check it out!

HALO 4

To me, video games aren't just a means of entertainment. Video games are an artform in itself. Games are geting bigger and better in their production values, their artwork, animations; becoming more and more like blockbuster films than the brainchild of the gaming industries. Halo 4 is turning out to be one of these blockbuster games. 343 Industries has a lot riding on the release of Halo 4, and some people aren't even acknowledging its existence because it is a Halo sequel NOT created by Bungie. I--and many of my peers--are indeed ecstatic about Halo 4 and are extremely excited for the game to be released on November 6th.
If you have an Iphone download the app called IMotion HD. It creates really cool time lapses and is easy to use. Here is a video  of  some.

KHS in the No Bull 2013 Campaign Reel

You can see KHS on the red carpet in this Video Promo for the No Bull Awards!

Articuno Used Whirlwind

DeviantArt Zonule's recent cosplay depicting an Articuno using whirlwind really caught my eye. I think it's awe-inspiring and captures the beauty of those cool and spicy creatures known as Pokemon.

Moving or Not?

Looking at abstract art can confuse you sometimes. Maybe there's a face, or maybe if you look one way it's moving, ou just never know. Abstract is all in your head and now you visualize it with your imagination. If you look closely at this picture, can you decide if its's coming towards you, moving in circles, if the black hole is getting further away? Let your imagination take its course. Also visit the website to look at more abstract art! http://darkartwork.freeoda.com/?p=15

Digital Clothing

I found this abstract picture of a dress. Created by Alina Ena, she works with digital painting skill to design the dress. It's got a very Lady Gaga feel to the style. The abstract design is very unique on Alina's  part.  The dress is  eye catching in the fashion world which is exactly what is needed. Kudos to Alina. Light Painting Dresses by Alina Ena

This is Not Yellow

This video sucked me in with its explanation of how yellow light is created on your monitor.  But there are so many interesting things in this video, it is hard to say what you will like best.
Boards of Canada, great ambient music, this is one of their more popular songs. You should really look into some of their other stuff.
