Stay Positive

With everything that is currently going on in the world, it is best to stay positive with businesses now opening their doors again. We are making the slow recovery back to normalcy and with it we will be able to start seeing each other in person again. I know I have been missing them and so I am ready for them to finally be more open. Time for the good times to come back and remember to stay positive.
As the school year draws to a close I remember all the fun times I had in this class. Even though I will be taking DMA 2 as a senior next year the class just won't be the same. I am looking forward to the fun times that lie ahead and to the seniors who have graduated I wish you good luck on you future adventures. May the good times roll...

Last Post

Last post! Dma was my favorite class and its sad I wont have it anymore! Thank you for the years of my life!

Farewell DMA

DMA was by far one of my favorite classes.  It taught me so much and opened my eyes to different career possibilities.  I wish the year could have ended as we planned and we could’ve made more memories.  But I won’t forget the ones we did make.  I had so much fun taking this class.  Thank you Mrs. Shields for all of your help and being so patient.  You’ve made a huge impact on the path I’m going to take. Thank you! I will miss this class!

The division

Tom Clancy's The Division,  released in 2016, is a game based on the events surrounding a pandemic.  With current events, this game is quite relevant.  Playing the game during the current stay at home order  has been interesting, but a bit unnerving at the same time.  The game takes place in New York City following a pandemic that killed so many citizens that the world is in chaos.  The city is in government lock-down and, as a player in the game, you are trying to protect the city from rival gangs that seek to take control over supplies. I
I’ve spent so much of my time playing this game, it’s my favorite game in the world. I play constantly, and i think it’s a really great game. if you have a switch, i highly recommend getting it.

Final Post...

Well this is it I guess, not exactly how I imagined my time in this class would end but here we are. Regardless of how it ended, I can confidently say the time spent in this class has featured some of my favorite memories of high school. It was one of the only classes I felt like I could be myself and have multiple creative outlets to express myself, and for that I'll always be thankful. If you're curious as to what I've worked on these past two years you can find that  here.  So long KHS...

Goodbye DMA

Well i guess its time to part ways. I will miss you all as we all take these next few steps in life. I have no clue where everyone is off to but I do know that you all helped me to be who I am today. And for that I say thank you. feel free to check out my site here ---->  Nicks website

AP DMA Class of 2020

As this year comes to a close, I wanted to take this opportunity to send out the web links to the portfolios of the 12 AP DMA Seniors that will be graduating in a few short weeks.  If you have a minute, take a look at the wonderful work they have created during their time in high school.  These talented students are looking for internships, commissions, networking, and job opportunities that will help them achieve their future career goals.  If you like their work, please contact them directly for your photography, illustration, design, animation, video and filmmaking needs!  Please forward their portfolios to anyone you know who might be interested in their work. Live Action Hercules

Rumor has it that the 1997 Disney movie Hercules is being made into a live-action movie like Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book, and Dumbo. The Director has yet to be chosen but I think it will turn out cool no matter who does it.
