I found this interesting picture while looking at different pictures used on Illustrator. It is cool to see how original pictures can be turned into great works of art!
Stay Out of Racing Games. http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/11/27/halo-truck-leads-forza-horizon-december-ign-car-pack It's bad enough that some trashy Halo-themed Raptor is in this pack to begin with, but apparently it's also the one free portion of this paid DLC pack. At least the McLaren F1's in there too.
I came across these awesome portraits where an artist named Erika Simmons creates images entirely out of Cassette Tape. It is a really cool technique I have never seen before. Here are some examples.
If you've ever played Zelda II: The Adventure of Link , you'll know how much fun it is. Well, some dedicated gamer has rebuilt this 8-bit classic into a first person game with Unity! Check it out here. (It's not blocked at school, you're welcome)
This is a great movie that shows the life and styles of street and graffiti artists. The cameraman follows these artists around for years and finally decides to become a pop artist himself. A GOOD WATCH!
I found this abstract illustrator portait while looking for inspirations for our project. I thought it was cool how you can incorporate things about people into their portrait just with colors and shapes.
This is pretty awesome and super crazy; Japanese omote 3D have conceived a limited edition pop-up installation at the eye of gyre exhibition , that reproduces personal detailed miniature action figures. ranging from 10 to 20 centimetres in height, the system utilizes a three-dimensional camera and printer to process and scan users, creating custom scale reproductions. the three-step procedure requires the user to keep still for 15 minutes while the scanners capture the data.
While google searching "amazing art thats super cool" I stumbled across a neat website called the KHS Digital Media Arts blog... On this website I found some neat stuff... I suggest checking it out... Just click HERE to view the site.
Hey everyone... Found a really cool contest while searching the web so I figured I'd share. It's called scholastics and you can enter one piece for five dollars or an entire portfolio for twenty with the chance to win lots of $$$. Good luck! official website click here sub categories click here
I was going through some of the songs I haven't listened to in a while and I came across this video. I never really paid attention to how hard the "scribbles" on the video may have been, and it's still a very cool effect
The Barack Obama "Hope" poster is an image of Barack Obama designed by artist Shepard Fairey , which was widely described as iconic and came to represent the 2008 Obama presidential campaign . It consists of a stylized stencil portrait of Obama in solid red, beige and (pastel and dark) blue, with the word "progress", "hope", or "change" below (and other words in some versions).

In honor of Veteran's Day yesterday, here is an amazing example of graphic design. A fantastic drawing of a soldier. A great example of what happens in Illustrator.
Check out this elephant sculpture made by South African artist Andries Botha. This sculpture is made from driftwood over a metal skeleton. He calls his installation ‘ You Can Buy My Heart and My Soul ‘. Andries Botha has created more than 20 elephants from recycled materials for his global Human Elephant Foundation.
HUGE NEWS FOR HALO 4 FANS! Okay so Cortana dies (maybe), you figure out the forerunner guy is actually a dude who looks like a drell from Mass Effect 3 mixed with a locust from gears of war and has armor, he can levitate stuff and its uber sweet, so Cortana is suffering from rampancy and goes insane and almost kills chief on like 3 different occasions so at the very end the daedec (main bad guy) or whatever its called is about to throw chief into some fire abyss but right before it cortana with her split personalities saves chief and then chief puts a pulse grenade in the dudes chest and he dies. So chief carrying a nuke on his back the whole time then commits suicide but WAIT CORTANA SAVES HIS LIFE AND PUTS HIM IN A CUBE and he lives but that takes so much from her that she cant be with chief anymore too much of her is gone and boom end of the game he gets saved by lasky and the infinity. Oh ya spoiler alert.
Ok so here's the ending of Assassin's creed 3... so connor the entire game befriending the colonist with george washington but at the very end of the game george washington is given orders to kill Connors mohawk tribe driving them away from their home land and it makes. Oh ya you also kill your best friend at the beginning of the game who was the fat guy. Oh and if you just bought it the Haytham guy is actually a templar whose your father if you thought he was an assassin. Also the 2 hologram people minerva and juno try to convince you to either save the world or not save the world. If you dont save the world then humanity gets reborn a new but if you save the world then the earth gets ruled by juno who turns out to be evil, sucks right?
I think it would be hard to ever record drums in the the little room we have (besides the fact that it would be LOUD). I think it would be useful to have a digital drum set like this so we can record our own beats and not have to worry about being a nuisance or by taking up too much space.
Okay, I know this is another stupid stop motion video that I'm posting but I stumbled across this while listening to music on youtube and just about fell out of my chair laughing! So here 'ya go, check it out, enjoy!
As most of you may know, tonight is the eve of Halo 4, one of the biggest games to hit Xbox by far. I thought it most appropriate to throw everyone back to 2007--the year Halo 3 was released. Enjoy!!

Halloween makeup artists get one month out of the year to display their talents. They can create a lot of scary and creepy faces that can frighten anyone from a little girl to a grown man. Here is a link to a website with some cool examples of some of the most under appreciated artists. http://www.janedoemakeup.com/live/
A great movie, and cool animation technique I'm currently expirementing with, rotoscoping. Its where you go through each frame of video and draw out each image. This was a movie that took over 2 years to make, but was well worth it.
