Sonia Soberats: blind photographer

It's amazing! Look at this picture taken by a blind person. She uses light graffiti to draw the picture on the object. The results have a watery sense that i love. It's strange how a person that cannot see can take such great pictures. I discovered that she is not the only one. Take a look to this link: http://www.peteeckert.com/photos.php By Zoe

Steadicam on the Oscars

"Hey guys, watching the Oscars? Did you see Robert Downey Jr. Present? When he walked out, he was followed by a camera man. He jokingly said he was making a documentary. That's unimportant. The cool part is that the camerman was using a steadicam. It looked like the same one we have.....maybe a little better.  (Posted for Matt L.)

Music Video

High Dynamic Range Photography

By Ryan Hayes DMA I recently experimented with HDR (High-Dynamic Range) Photography.  HDR is a range of techniques geared toward representing more contrast in pictures. Normally, cameras take pictures at a single exposure level with a limited contrast range. This results in the loss of detail in bright or dark areas of a picture, depending on whether the camera had a low or high exposure setting. HDR compensates for this loss of detail by taking multiple pictures at different exposure levels and intelligently stitching them together so that a photograph is representative of both dark and bright areas.  You can see more images in our Picasa Gallery . Sharpie Lamborghini

The "Sharpie Lamborghini" Gallardo Brett contracted local Miami graffiti artist Jona Cerwinske who has completed works for artists such as Lenny Kravitz and Swiss Beatz, to create something intriguing, turning a classic vehicle into something iconic. Brett began arming Cerwinske with memories of his father, the dealership, and his aspirations for the future inspiring him to generate a mobile masterpiece drawn completely free hand with no preconceived idea of what the car would transform into using a sharpie marker.   And you thought shoes were hard work...
